We had a great FHE this evening. Everyone was asked to bring a picture of someone they knew who has served in or is currently serving in the armed forces. It was good to hear everyone's stories of family members who have served our country. The picture above was taken of the photos everyone brought - Sister Mayo brought a life sized "picture" :o)
We also participated in a small service project - Sister Mayo and her daughter belong to the Daughters of the American Revolution. One of the projects they are involved in is sending care packages to service men and women so we packed a box with enough left over to fill a second box.
Of course we ended the evening with yummy treats - Sister Sheen's trifle was a hit!!
